Bar Takeovers
We took over some amazing spots—like Champs Downtown, FieldHouse, Garage Bar, and Sports & Social Arlington—that were already buzzing hubs for students and alumni in Big Ten and Big 12 cities. Through custom elements like the Venmo Hall logo and insignia, lockers, and painted football walls, we developed a cohesive brand environment that integrated Venmo into student life.
Musical Talent & Meet-And-Greets
Building on the energy from the bars, we teamed up with star-powered artists like Two Friends , Elderbrook and the Black Crowes for entertainment. Fans also had the opportunity to meet former Big Ten and Big 12 legends like LaDanian Tomlinson, LaVar Jackson and Robert Griffin III.
Custom Merch
With standout locations and premier entertainment, we wanted to give Big Ten and Big 12 fans a chance to personalize their experience with merch that was both unique and memorable. With each school and it’s culture in mind, we designed custom sweatshirts, t-shirts, and patches to bring the Venmo school spirit to life.
Stadium Takeovers
To support Venmo’s new partnership with Big Ten and Big 12 at a larger scale, we also created a multitude of in-stadium assets to promote the new Venmo College Debit Card. Ranging from stadium LEDs to concession signage, Venmo was able to share their messaging to any and all sorts of fans.
